Cancellation Policy
Students reserve a weekly lesson time in the studio schedule. I understand that life happens and occasional conflicts arise. However, because time slots are held for each student, missed lessons cannot always be rescheduled.​​​

Student cancellations

Notice: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.

Illness/Emergency: One guaranteed make-up per month, even with less than 24 hours’ notice.

Other Cancellations: Non-emergency cancellations (i.e. travel/scheduling conflicts) are not made up.

Extended Absences: For absences of two or more consecutive weeks, the monthly rate may be adjusted. Please let me know before paying for that month.

Holidays: No lessons held on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year’s Eve/Day. The monthly rate will be adjusted if a lesson falls on one of these holidays. Families who observe other holidays not listed above may notify me in advance to discuss schedule adjustments.

Teacher cancellations

Last-minute: I will offer a make-up lesson at a mutually agreed-upon time or apply a credit toward the next month.

Planned absences: For absences known before the month begins, the monthly rate will be adjusted accordingly.
