Cancellation Policy
I understand that life happens, so my cancellation policy is here to help us keep lessons consistent while being fair to everyone’s time.

Student cancellations

Notice: Whenever possible, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to help with scheduling.

Illness/Emergency: One guaranteed make-up per month, even with less than 24 hours’ notice; additional make-ups for extended illness may be arranged at the teacher’s discretion.

Planned Conflicts: Please give at least one week’s notice for travel or known scheduling conflicts so an alternate lesson can be scheduled (does not count against emergency make-up).

Non-Emergency Conflicts: Cancellations within a week of the lesson for non-emergency reasons may be rescheduled depending on availability, but a make-up lesson is not guaranteed.
Teacher cancellations

If I need to reschedule, I will try to give at least 24 hours’ notice and offer a make-up lesson to be scheduled at a mutually agreed-upon time within the same month.

If I have to cancel within 24 hours, I will refund that lesson offer a credit towards the next month.
