Cancellation Policy
Your monthly payment reserves a consistent weekly lesson time slot. Because that time is reserved specifically for your child, the monthly rate generally remains the same regardless of attendance, with a few exceptions outlined below.
Student cancellations

Illness/Emergency: One guaranteed make-up per month. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if possible.

Other Cancellations: Non-emergency cancellations (i.e. travel/scheduling conflicts) are not made up or rescheduled.

Extended Absences: For absences of two or more consecutive weeks, the monthly rate may be adjusted. Please let me know before paying for that month.

Holidays: No lessons are held on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year’s Eve/Day. The monthly rate will be adjusted if a lesson falls on one of these holidays.
Teacher cancellations

Last-minute: I will offer a make-up lesson at a mutually agreed-upon time or apply a credit toward the next month.

Planned absences: For absences known before the month begins, the monthly rate will be adjusted accordingly.
